Bitumen

Bitumen, also referred to as asphalt in the U.S., is a sticky, black, and highly viscous liquid or semi-solid form of petroleum. It is found naturally or as a refined product and is classed as a pitch. Bitumen plays a critical role in road construction, waterproofing, and sealing applications.
